MEA appoints new WA state manager
Master Electricians Australia (MEA) has appointed a new state manager for its Perth headquarters. Tony Mancini comes to the position with over 40 years’ experience in the electrical industry, including 11 years as Western Power’s Principal Electrical Inspector.
Mancini is enthusiastic about his new role. “I’ve been in the electrical industry for a long time and I’m really passionate about it,” he said.
“Before my appointment to state manager for Western Australia, I had already known a number of people in MEA, and I greatly believe in the concept the company has. It was an easy progression, and a natural fit, for me to transition into this role.”
“I am deeply committed to electrical safety and am, and will continue to be, a firm advocate for electrical contracting and apprentice education. I am really looking forward to my new role with MEA in WA, and in promoting the safety of all who work in the electricity industry.”
According to MEA’s Business Development Manager Andrew Bailey, this is an ideal time for MEA to expand its offices to Western Australia.
“The Master Electrician program has enjoyed rapid growth over its time in the marketplace, with proven results in Victoria, NSW and South Australia,” Bailey said.
“We have appointed state managers for NSW and Victoria, and I think this is a great time for MEA to expand into WA. This is another step forward to raising the bar on electrical safety.”
