Eaton announces Data Centre Tech Days
Eaton Corporation has announced the inaugural Australia Data Centre Tech Days, to be held in Sydney on 18 and 19 September.
The Tech Days are aimed at IT and data centre managers and are intended to give attendees an overview on the latest in data centre design and operations. Seminar sessions and a roundtable discussion will focus on how to lower data centre costs, reduce risk and increase return on invested capital.
John Collins, Global Segment Director Data Centres, Eaton Corporation, is confirmed as a keynote speaker at the Tech Days.
Topics covered include the power behind virtualisation, data centres in the cloud and airflow management systems, metering and arc flash protection.
“Our aim is to provide attendees with an opportunity to learn about best practices in data centre infrastructure, connect with peers and gain new expertise. Ultimately, the event provides a forum to be part of the data centre event of the year where information can be exchanged, questions answered and managers can gain insight into how to power their organisation’s performance to new levels of efficiency,” said Michael Mallia, Senior Product Line Manager, Asia Pacific, Electrical Sector, Eaton Corporation.
