West ProVU advanced process controller

The West ProVU Advanced Controller with text-based display is suitable for temperature or process control applications requiring a user-friendly, general-purpose controller.

The LCD screen on ProVU displays real-text messages. User screens are only displayed as each function is enabled, creating an optimised menu structure that is simple to navigate.

Configuration is simplified with a set-up wizard that runs on first power-up. The user is guided through the common parameter settings to program the unit. The settings can be saved on a memory stick via the USB port and can be used for reconfiguration or to program other ProVU units. BlueControl software can be used for on and offline configuration.

Flexible input and output option boards allow the controller to accurately match an application. Universal process input (thermocouple, PT100 and linear DC), digital inputs, remote setpoint inputs, RS485 and ethernet (Modbus TCP) compatibility and up to nine outputs (relay, SSR driver, triac, linear DC and 24 V transmitter PSU) are available.

Profile control is managed from the controller itself or through remote input, or timed via the integral real-time clock.

An optional data logging feature is available for quality control purposes.
