The SpinetiX HMP100 is a hyper media player that utilises open software standards to drive digital signage for messaging and information applications in public places such as hotels and transport directories. It enables streaming and encoded video, images and audio file formats to be combined with other dynamic information such as RSS or XML into the presentation.
The device presents an alternative approach to the traditional distributed video from a single PC or individual PCs at each display to deliver content. It has two video and audio outputs (VGA and HDMI) and can be mounted on the rear of displays.
The device is supplied with software that allows content management, scheduling and support for synchronised video wall creation, enabling video wall presentations in any shape or aspect ratio to be produced.
