The Harmony XB5S biometric switches eliminate security risks associated with lost, forgotten or stolen keys, cards and passwords.
The switches allow users to limit access to specific and dangerous machine functions to trained and authorised operators. Designed for use in industrial environments, the entire range offers IP65 water and dust protection, 50 gn shock and vibration resistance, -5 to +55°C operating temperature range, and responds to the presence of a finger in less than one second.
Other features include: user database management and access-attempt logging capabilities; simple and quick touch entry for authorised users; smart access control - with ability to assign different clearance levels (eg, operators, administrators, etc); rugged design and high-performance specifications.
