The Quatech ABDG-ET-IN5010 airborne industrial wireless ethernet bridge range of integrated 802.11 radios and device servers is suitable for complex machine-to-machine applications.
Using 802.11 microprocessor and network technologies, the products are claimed to be suitable for wireless applications requiring performance, reliability and advanced security.
The ethernet bridge allows an ethernet-enabled device to connect to a wireless 802.11 network. Integrated network address translation functionality provides plug-and-play connectivity and simple integration to any system with an ethernet port. It includes an auto-sensing 10/100 Mbps ethernet port, a 802.11b/g radio and an ARM9 MCU running embedded Linux.
The ethernet bridge supports the WPA2 security standard for enterprise networks as well as WEP, WPA 802.11i and pre-shared key.
Suitable for industrial, automotive and medical applications, the ethernet bridge features an operating temperature range of -40 to +85°C, a power supply input range of 5-36 VDC and convenient terminal blocks.
It is supplied in a ruggedised metal enclosure to withstand harsh conditions and environments.
