The mySmart Hotel Room Control System intelligently controls the air-conditioning in individual hotel rooms. Using motion sensing and door switches, the system knows when a room is in use and when it’s not in use.
The built-in Smart Digital Thermostat can be used in stand-alone mode, control the room lights or integrate with a hotel’s check-in system. It can be retrofitted to replace existing thermostats and connected to existing plant equipment. When a guest checks in, the temperature of their room is adjusted to provide a comfortable environment. When they leave the room, the temperature is automatically relaxed to save energy use.
The environmental benefits of the system are a claimed energy saving of over 20% and subsequent carbon emissions reduction, along with reduced air-conditioning maintenance.
