The X-Series of industrial gear units comprises 15 models with different torque ratings, allowing users to closely match a gear unit to their application.
The gear units feature helical and helical-bevel gear technologies, which deliver torques from 58,000 to 475,000 Nm and are available in a range of mounting arrangements, configuration options and user-specific requirements. They are suited to industrial applications such as conveyor systems, agitators, mixers, shredders, crushers and traction and hoist-drive systems.
Comprehensive torque-rating options simplify the task of closely matching an industrial gear unit to the drive application.
A number of versatile options are offered, including a housing that allows the gear units to be inverted to produce a mirror-image gearbox that enables a single spare unit to replace both left- and right-hand drive gear units, reducing the number of complete gear unit spares needed to be kept on site.
The larger units in the range have been designed with a horizontal-split gear unit housing, so that regardless of which way up the unit is orientated, the upper housing can be simply lifted off for ease of servicing.
