Hirschmann MACH 4000 gigabit ethernet switches and routers

The MACH 4000 gigabit ethernet switches and routers offer high transmission rates for the backbones of linked networks in factories, transportation automation and on ships.

With its modular, stackable system, the switches are available in various versions to meet many requirements, from 24 Gb ethernet ports up to 48 Gb ethernet ports or additionally with three 10 Gb ethernet ports. All of this is packed into a compact chassis that offers a high port density and modularity. Additional functions for industrial applications include HiPER-Ring, redundant coupling or shock and vibration resistance with GL approval.

Each media module supports up to eight ports, while the system is expandable by up to four media modules.

The devices feature plug-and-play functionality, an extended temperature range of 0 - 60°C, power supply redundancy through use of M4-POWER chassis support for power sources of 100 to 240 VAC, 120 to 350 VDC, 24 VDC and 48 VDC.
