The 1000FX fibre-optic media converter with Power over Ethernet (PoE) supports the latest IEEE 802.3at PoE standard for power sourcing equipment (PSE), supplying up to 25 W of power.
The products are designed for use in harsh environments and allow 10/100/1000TX ethernet data to be transmitted optically over either multimode or single-mode optical fibre, by application-specific, optional SFP modules.
