Clipsal C-Bus 360° surface-mount detectors

Monday, 14 January, 2013 | Supplied by: Clipsal - by Schneider Electric

Clipsal’s range of C-Bus detectors has been extended to include 360° surface-mount options. Based on existing detection technology and enclosure design, the sensors provide an immediate solution for surface-mount applications. They readily mount on solid surfaces such as masonry or wood.

Three new product variants based on the current flush mount C-Bus Multi-sensor technology are available including; light level only; occupancy and light level functionality; or occupancy, light level and infrared control functionality.

The occupancy and light level detectors include the following features: a low-profile, surface-mount design which extends only 33 mm from the mounting surface, passive infrared (PIR) detection with manually adjustable sensitivity to motion; software programmable time delay; motion detection coverage typically 7.6 m diameter (at 2.7 m mounting height); C-Bus control of light level target, light level margin, high/low lux levels and high/low thresholds; bank switching of lighting levels based on the light level setpoint; daylight harvesting to maintain a constant user-configured light level.
