Bosch Security Systems Camera 200

The Camera 200 Series CCTV solution is a compact IP camera that operates as a self-contained surveillance system, suitable for use by small businesses and enterprises.

Ready-to-use, the camera can operate without a digital video recorder or PC. As soon as it is plugged in, the camera starts recording using H.264 compression, to keep storage requirements to a minimum, and can store several days’ video footage on an SD memory card. A single cable connection handles power and viewing recorded video, if a power-over-ethernet-enabled switch is used.

The camera delivers sharp colour CCTV images and is supplied with a vari-focal lens, with other lenses optionally available.

Built-in software enables recorded video from up to eight cameras to be played back on a single PC monitor. It also allows video to be archived, or locating specific events using a smart-search facility to scan the video for movement.

The camera also features built-in motion-, tamper- and audio-detection that can be used to trigger an action, such as setting off alarms or increasing recording quality to capture extra details in scenes and two-way audio capability, allowing operators to communicate with visitors via the camera.
