Legrand partners with The Block
Legrand Australia — part of electrical and digital infrastructure multinational Legrand Group — is supplying smart home and electrical products to Australian renovation show The Block in 2024. The arrangement is a continuation of the company’s partnership with the Channel 9 reality TV series, which this year is shot on Phillip Island, Victoria and involves five couples renovating five luxury holiday homes.
In this 20th season of the show, Legrand contributes solutions that are designed to help contestants transform their houses into modern, energy-efficient and fully connected living spaces, both indoors and out. Products utilised and installed during the series include smart switches and sockets, power points, exit and emergency lighting, and LED floodlights.
Legrand Australia and New Zealand CEO Palash Nandy said the company was thrilled to support the show’s contestants and electrical contractors during the 12-week home renovation journey.
“We look forward to sharing the latest smart home innovation, trends and inspiration from Legrand with Australian homeowners and renovators, while also building brand awareness across our range, with the 1.3 million viewers per episode, to support our trade partners,” Nandy said.
As part of the global Legrand network, Legrand Australia designs, manufactures and distributes over 15,000 items under several premium brands including Legrand, HPM, BTicino and Netatmo. The company also has a dedicated R&D team that designs products and solutions specifically suited to the needs of the ANZ market.
