Mercedes-Benz Vito van fuel line issues

Monday, 19 September, 2016

The Department of Infrastructure & Regional Development is the appointed regulator for a recall of the Mercedes-Benz Vito van, sold nationally by authorised Mercedes-Benz dealers between 1 July 2014 and 31 March 2016.

The vehicles feature a high-pressure fuel line may not have been manufactured to specification; this could result in fuel leakage. Diesel fuel leakage on to the road surface may result in an increased risk of accident to the vehicle concerned and other road users.

Letters will be sent to owners of affected vehicles to advise of the next steps to take.
