Foton truck recall

Tuesday, 19 May, 2015

Ateco Automotive has issued a recall on Foton Trucks. Certain vehicles within the range were supplied with vehicle jacks that do not comply with AS/NZS2693:2007, the mandatory safety standard.

The company advises that incorrect use of the product could create a crushing hazard. Customers will receive a letter advising them to contact their preferred Foton dealer. Additionally, a customer assist toll free number has been set up (1800 355 321) and Product Safety Recalls Australia has published a VIN list which identifies at-risk vehicles here.
