enLighten attains IP66 rating for Cetus range
enLighten has attained IP66 rating for its Cetus LED high- and low-bay light range.
The IP66 rating means the Cetus light range is ‘dust-tight’ and can withstand high-pressure jets of water. This makes it suitable for food and beverage manufacturers with industrial washdown areas. It is also suitable for use in cold storage warehouses where refrigeration systems can cause the formation of icicles on the high-bay luminaires.
The Cetus range achieved the rating due to a number of design features: rugged sealed housing of electrical components; use of a high-strength polycarbonate lens cover that completely seals the LED driver; fully sealed external power source.
