A spring door option has been added to the Z-MAX shielded (category 6A) and unshielded (category 6 and 6A) hybrid range of outlet to minimise exposure of the jack contacts to dust and other contaminants.
The transparent door option features a spring-loaded design for simple, one-finger operation of the door. The face of door accepts standard ZMAX icons and is available with a variety of colour-matching bezels, including black, white, red, grey, yellow, blue, green, orange, ivory and light ivory.
The doors are not field installable onto existing Z-MAX outlets and therefore are not available separately.
