NetComm Wireless has introduced the NF17ACV VDSL/ADSL Wireless AC1600 Gigabit Gateway, designed to deliver a faster wireless experience on Australia’s nbn and New Zealand’s Ultra-Fast Broadband (UFB) fibre networks.
The NF17ACV will provide superfast broadband internet, with access to VDSL2 or ADSL2+ and fibre FTTN/FTTB/FTTH services when available. The gateway is next-generation Wi-Fi 802.11 AC1600, dual band concurrent and offers enhanced streaming to all Wi-Fi connected devices and features 3 x 3 MIMO internal antennas to extend a powerful signal throughout the home.
Congestion is reduced with multidevice access on 2.4 and 5 GHz bands simultaneously, and the ultrafast 1600 Mbps network optimises the communications link to set-top boxes, smartphones, laptops and gaming consoles.
Designed to provide triple-play services covering high-speed data transmission, multi HD/4K IPTV and over-the-top video streaming as well as high-quality VoIP phone calls, the NF17ACV offers a complete bundle in a single device. The device functions as the media hub of the home, connecting two USB devices for the access and sharing of A/V media and file content, while using the UPnP standard to enhance wireless home networking.
