Industrial category 6 UTP cables

The DataTuff 7940A category 6 unshielded twisted pair cable is designed for industrial ethernet applications such as mission-critical network and automation system backbones being installed in discrete industrial manufacturing, processing plants and large industrial infrastructures such as water treatment and utility plants, airports, transportation terminals and shipyards.

The cable features a solid bare copper 23 AWG conductor, a heavy-duty oil- and sunlight-resistant jacket, and bonded-pair technology that maintains a consistent distance between conductors with no twisting or performance-robbing gaps.

The industrial ethernet product range includes DataTuff copper-based category 5e and category 6 cables and ‘TrayOptic’ indoor/outdoor fibre-optic cables. The cables are oil, chemical and moisture resistant, built to withstand extreme temperature variations and resistant to electrical noise (EMI/RFI).
