The har-speed M12 connectors meet category 6A performance specifications, enabling an M12 cabling system to be deployed for higher data performance scenarios.
The connectors are optimal for applications with high bandwidths in machine and plant engineering where rapid and safe data transmission beyond category 5 are increasingly required. This recent development is based on the PAS 61076-2-10x, which defines a uniform mating face for 8-pole M12 connectors.
The mating face performs two tasks: shielding in the connector area (shielded wire pairs) and the coding of the mating face, while ensuring failsafe plugging with other 8-pole M12 connectors.
Over-moulded variants in different lengths and a crimp connector for on-site assembly complement the range.
