The polyamide liner, while providing a chemical barrier against hydrocarbons, facilitates the insertion of cables due to its low-friction internal surface thus allowing for lubricant-free installations.
A full range of mechanical or electro-welding fittings completes the SmartConduit impermeable system including secure sealed end fittings and entry boots.
The system features high internal wall smoothness; low friction co-efficient; low wear resistance; and high impact, compression and collapse resistance.
It exhibits virtually zero permeation to hydrocarbons and bar code joint electro-welding technology is available. Colour coding makes identification simple.
The product complies with AS/NZS 2053 and is suitable for use in temperatures from -40 to +60°C.
