Schneider Electric launches Asset Connect Services

Thursday, 19 June, 2014

Schneider Electric has launched Asset Connect Services for critical environments including data centres. The concept aims to offer complete operations and management, on-site and remote, of the physical assets to help customers increase operational efficiency, minimise risk of downtime, reduce energy costs and optimise the infrastructure’s entire life cycle.

Enabled through the company’s recently launched services bureau in Bangalore, Asset Connect Services bring technical expertise, data science and technology to offer a 24/7 service that will help monitor, diagnose, analyse, predict and resolve critical situations before they occur.

Critical environments including data centres are becoming increasingly complex to manage and operate, as the business risks associated with failure of such critical infrastructure equipment is too significant to disregard, said Darren Burnnand, head of services, Schneider Electric Australia. Schneider Electric is best positioned to respond to this challenge given its experience in critical environments, heritage in using the latest technology and continued investment as it evolves as a more service-oriented company.
