Secure Power Solutions appoints new Technical Services Director

John Barker has been appointed as the new Technical Services Director for Secure Power Solutions.

Barker comes to the company with more than 18 years’ experience in the critical power industry, having been directly responsible for supporting clients such as Woodside Petroleum, ConocoPhillips, BHP, the Boddington Gold Mine, the Ravensthorpe Nickel Mine, Rio Tinto and others.

He has worked on a number of Australian mining sites, as well as sites in South Korea, Indonesia, East Timor and Malaysia, and is reportedly known for a ‘can-do’ attitude and putting his customers first.

WA-based company Secure Power Solutions has over 40 years of UPS, DC power and battery service experience in the commercial, oil, gas and mining sectors.
