New National President for Engineers Australia
Chris Champion has been elected as National President and Board Chair of Engineers Australia 2020.
Champion is Director International of IPWEA and has been Chair of NAMS Canada Inc since it was established five years ago.
From 2000–2015, Champion was CEO of IPWEA after a 30-year local government engineering career. He is an Emeritus Fellow of IPWEA and a Fellow of Engineers Australia. A regular inclusion on Engineers Australia’s Top 100 Most Influential Engineers list since its inception in 2004, Champion is also a graduate and member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
