Fluke Networks to acquire AirMagnet
Fluke Networks has signed a definitive agreement to acquire AirMagnet, a supplier of performance, security and compliance solutions for wireless LANs.
Wireless LANs are growing rapidly as a favoured network access method for mobility and are increasingly enabling mission-critical applications. For network support teams, these technologies raise new challenges to delivering superior operating service.
AirMagnet products enable enterprise IT organisations to ensure the availability, performance, security and compliance of wireless LAN infrastructure so that business applications can function without interruption.
The company’s products include 24/7 WLAN security and performance management solutions, Wi-Fi troubleshooting tools and spectrum analysers.
