Emerson wins Frost & Sullivan Leadership award
Emerson Network Power has won the 2012 Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific Market Share Leadership award in the data centre cooling solutions category. The award is presented to the company that has demonstrated excellence in capturing the highest market share in its industry. Emerson was judged against its major competitors on a number of criteria, including market share, growth strategy and product innovation.
“Emerson Network Power has been able to retain its market leadership position in the Asia Pacific data centre cooling solution market in 2011 for the second year in a row, a feat which is commendable in a market that is efficiency driven and highly diverse in nature,” said Amit Kumar Singh, analyst for Energy and Power Systems Practice, Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific.
“Emerson Network Power’s ability to deliver a strong value proposition - ‘Efficiency without Compromise’ - through world-class cooling products and a vast network of sales and service centres across Asia Pacific has enabled the company to create a strong differentiation from its competitors and capture the maximum market share in the region.”
“We have a proud heritage in this market, going back to Ralph Liebert’s first precision cooling device for IBM in 1965, which continues to inform our focus on customer satisfaction through innovation and product excellence,” said Anand Sanghi, President of Emerson Network Power Asia. “For the past 40 years we have actively serviced Asia Pacific and know this market intimately and can support customers anywhere.”
