Anixter to distribute Liebert
Emerson Network Power, a business of Emerson that focuses on enabling business-critical continuity, has appointed Anixter as a distribution partner for its Liebert UPS power protection, racking, switching and monitoring products in Australia and New Zealand.
According to Anixter Managing Director Wayne Bogart: “The two companies already work closely together in other parts of the world, so the agreement is a good fit for the local operations in terms of corporate synergies and go-to-market strategy.
“We’ve built a strong business in the region around specialist skills in structured cabling for power and data, with a focus on communications, security and switching systems. It therefore makes sense that we partner with the leaders in these fields.”
Emerson Network Power’s Australia Managing Director, David Scott, says that Emerson’s portfolio of products and services perfectly complement and support Anixter’s core product sets: “Anixter has a loyal and experienced channel which will further extend our penetration into the smaller computer and server rooms.
“We’ve traditionally lead from the front in the larger data centres, developing new technologies that markedly reduce the energy draw and environmental emissions in some of the world’s foremost IT infrastructure facilities. Our latest technologies are designed for data centres and computer rooms, a fast-growing market for both organisations in the region.”
