Public comment period for flammable refrigerants closing soon
The Australian Institute of Refrigeration, Airconditioning and Heating (AIRAH) is seeking public comment on the draft Code of Practice on managing the health and safety risks associated with the safe design, manufacture, installation, commissioning, operation, maintenance, decommission and disposal of refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment and systems that use a flammable refrigerant.
The public comment period for this Code of Practice, which is of particular use to those wishing to claim Green Star credits for the use of low-GWP refrigerants in HVAC and refrigeration systems, ends on 15 April. Read the draft Code of Practice and use the public comment form to submit your feedback.
