The CYHCT-S4 range of Hall effect transmitters is designed for the measurement of DC current.

The current sensors are available in ranges from 30 to 300 A, with a selection of output types that include 0-20 mA, 4-20 mA, 0-5 V and 0-10 VDC.

Unlike conventional shunts, these devices provide high levels of isolation between primary and secondary circuits, 2.5 kVDC operation and impose no insertion loss on the circuit under measurement.

A split-core design and DIN rail facilitates easy installation.

Typical applications include monitoring load and charge currents on battery banks, measurement of current draw on traction motors, sensing of motor stalls and shorts, current measurement on cathodic protection rigs and on plating rectifiers.
