Techs4Biz crane inspection app

Techs4Biz has developed a paperless app for field workers and crane inspectors to make sure their maintenance and inspection operations meet safety requirements. The app works on a variety of mobile devices, including iOS and Android tablets and smartphones.

The crane inspection app addresses the various limitations of conventional form-based crane inspection methods including completing paperwork at every stage of the inspection.

The app helps inspectors and field technicians use their mobile devices to scan the barcode, read the RFID tag or enter ID of the crane; enter data using pick lists or speech to text; take photos using the mobile device’s in-built camera; capture electronic signature; get real-time offline access to reference material such as manuals/instructions, previous inspection history, and relevant standards (AS -2550); provide a list of all parts required and used; send completed report and images back to the office in real time; automatically generate reports on the spot and send to clients; and follow up on required corrective actions.

The solution has been specifically configured to suit the inspection/service requirements of any type of crane including mobile, overhead, tower, rough terrain, crawler and aerial-mounted models among others.
