Pepperl+Fuchs high-temperature sensor cables and cordsets

Friday, 17 December, 2010 | Supplied by: Automated Control Pty Ltd

The Pepperl+Fuchs cables and cordsets for high-temperature environments are constructed of a TPE-class jacket material and a temperature-resistant conductor insulation material (ETFE). This provides temperature resistance at the jacket and at the conductor-insulation levels. They are resistant to temperature, weather, fuels, oils and abrasion.

The cables and cordsets can withstand extreme temperatures and are suitable for industrial applications such as welding, paint drying ovens, etc. They are resistant to weld slag and can handle temperature ranges of -40 up to +150°C for extended time periods of up to 3000 h.

The TPU connector material has a temperature rating of -40 to +90°C, while the 22 AWG (0.32 mm2), 19-strand cable/connector assembly is available IP68/IP69 rated.

Models are available in all standard 4-wire configurations (M12 [V1] and M8 [V3], single ended and extension).
