Laser safety sensor

Tuesday, 01 April, 2008 | Supplied by: Jemtech Pty Ltd

The Shrike SH-L600 laser sensor features a housing fully moulded from polyurethane resins and rigidly built around a steel mounting plate. The design significantly controls laser drift caused by thermal expansion and contraction of the mounting materials.

The unit has a 6-pin plug which allows quick replacement by personnel should the unit become damaged. The plug comes with 1–8 m leads, with 4 m extension cables also available.

The unit uses red laser light with less than 1 mW output, ensuring safe laser use. It is fully compatible with the Vigilante range of safety controllers.
