HPM Legrand electronic push-button switch

Tuesday, 31 August, 2010 | Supplied by: Legrand Australia P/L

HPM Legrand is expanding the range of push-button mechanisms with a sleek 240 V electronic push-button switch, suitable for residential or commercial projects.

Distinct from mechanical push-button switches and rocker switches, the electronic push-buttons sit flush against the plate and need only a light tap to control standard lighting circuits and turn lights on or off.

A red LED indicates the status, illuminating when the light is active and fading when the light is switched off.

Available in white, cream, black and matt silver (with black or white trim) colours, the push-buttons fit the company’s Standard, Excel, Architectural Metal and Linea plates, with models also available for Legrand’s (white and magnesium) Arteor Australian Style grid and plates.

Up to six switches, including universal push-button dimmers, can be accommodated within the same standard plate.

Additional features include a secondary control button (CAT 450S) available for multi-way switching and the option of a maximum 1200 VA load.
