Conservelec Sun Power Light Saver energy-saving device

Monday, 08 November, 2010 | Supplied by: Conservelec Pty Ltd

The Sun Power Light Saver energy-saving device, when installed on the light circuit, adjusts optimal voltage for each lamp according to electricity supply conditions enabling a reduction in electricity consumption of a claimed 20%+. It is suitable for all fluorescent lights and high-intensity discharge lamps.

The device has a microprocessor to adjust the suitable voltage as needed by the lamp. In the case of input voltage fluctuation or overvoltage, the device will automatically regulate and stabilise the voltage by controlling the surge current and overvoltage.

The device is claimed to minimise electricity waste and extend the life span of the lamp and ballasts by more than half while reducing maintenance costs.

It has a compact design with minimal weight and includes transient voltage surge suppressor and soft-start/soft-stop features. Installation is simple but must be carried out by a qualified electrician.
